Red Run Golf Club

ROYAL OAK, MI 2019

Red Run Golf Club evolved into a place where working families would come to unwind and socialize. The kitchens needed a major overhaul to accommodate the increased demand for not only traditional dining, but also to enable Red Run to hold events such as banquets, weddings and holiday parties. The enlarged outdoor spaces and pool area required a dedicated kitchen, prep, and storage area to improve food service with a different menu than the main dining room.

Noble Fish

DETROIT, MI 2019

Noble Fish has long been a top Sushi spot in metro Detroit – working out of a very cramped small kitchen in the back of it’s Japanese grocery store in Clawson, MI, and with a small seating area.  About 30 years ago Noble Fish opened as Rainbow Fish House.   When the opportunity came to acquire space adjacent to their original store, a large addition was planned.  The goal was to expand the existing grocery space and create a large kitchen and restaurant space for dine-in and carry-out customers.

Bar Verona

COMMERCE TWP, MI 2019

We were happy to assist in this first location of a Metro Detroit Chain.  Great Lakes supplied all the kitchen equipment, provided expert installation, and provided their opening order for supplies.  Bar Verona boasts some of the best Italian food to be found, thanks to Chef Fabio Viviani.  Chef Fabio was raised and trained in Italy, so his recipes are all totally authentic!  He gained celebrity by winning ‘fan favorite’ in Season 5 of the Bravo Television Network hit show “Top Chef”.

For a casual delicious evening of authentic Italian food and made-to-order craft cocktails don’t skip Bar Verona!

White Wolf

CLAWSON, MI 2019

White Wolf is owned True World Group, also owning noble Fish and One World market.  White Wolf took over an empty space 2 doors down from Noble Fish in Clawson, MI. Literally starting from dirt, the project began in spring of 2019.  GL Culinary Design worked with the owners from the beginning with a unique design to accommodate their fusion concept and the specific kitchen equipment needed, including display cases and speciality coffee makers.

Union Joints

CLARKSON, MI 2019

The restaurant group is known for re-purposing historic buildings and retaining their character, making the history of the building part of a new culinary concept.  Their first project was in the 1970s when their family purchased a church in Clarkston, MI to save it from being demolished.

Great Lakes has a long and successful history with this valued partner.  Our first project with this team involved procurement and installation of all their kitchen equipment, and as they opened new restaurants our partnership grew.  Our Great Lakes Culinary Design team was contracted for two of their latest projects, Honcho and Gran Castor.
